In the chilly atmosphere of the days leading up to Christmas in Sapa, on the evening of December 7th, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and 10-hand dinner offered a unique and captivating experience for guests at Hotel de la Coupole MGallery. Although this moment only lasted for one night, it left an unforgettable impression on visitors amidst the 10°C weather of the Northwest mountainous region.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremony (or Christmas tree decorating ceremony) is one of the important traditions of Christmas, especially in Western countries, and has gradually become an indispensable part of the holiday season worldwide. This activity carries many profound meanings, representing hope, joy, and light in the darkness.
This year's Christmas atmosphere in Sapa is particularly vibrant and mystical, with fog enveloping every small street. Accompanied by hymns from the Sapa Church choir, the 2024 Christmas tree lighting ceremony officially took place at the Hotel de la Coupole MGallery, decorated with a White Christmas theme, creating the feeling of being transported to a snowy Christmas season. This is an annual MGallery ritual marking the beginning of the year-end festive season.
The Christmas tree lighting ceremony (or Christmas tree decorating ceremony) is one of the important traditions of the Christmas season.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Peter Neto, General Manager of Hotel de la Coupole MGallery, shared: “This year’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony marks the 6th Christmas season at the hotel.” This is a testament to our sustainable development over more than half a decade as the first international 5-star hotel in Sapa.
