Phong shared that before the trip, he had envisioned a sea of clouds as beautiful as a painting. But when he actually stood in the middle of it, the experience far exceeded all his imagination. “The sea of clouds in Ta Xua is a delicate boundary between gloom and ethereal beauty. In just a few short minutes, the dense fog can dissipate, giving way to fluffy clouds floating between the mountain peaks,” he recounted.

The rapidly changing weather in Ta Xua also makes the place unique. Phong emphasized, "You never know what the weather will be like today. Sometimes it's covered in thick clouds, other times it's so clear you can see the distant mountain ranges." It is this unpredictability that creates the irresistible charm of this region.

One of Phong's most memorable moments was standing on the "dinosaur's spine"—a narrow, elongated mountain range resembling a spine reaching into the air. To reach it, visitors must traverse a challenging, winding path. "Standing on that spine, gazing at the vast nature, I felt incredibly small. Although I was a little nervous because of the height and the lack of safety equipment, it was all worth it," he said.

Besides the sea of clouds and breathtaking scenery, what impressed Phong the most was the people and the pace of life here. “Despite living in harsh climatic conditions, the people and children in this region still strive their best. From their smiles to their hospitality, everything made me feel close to them,” Phong shared.
Cuisine is also a delightful highlight in Ta Xua. The local dishes are simple yet flavorful, reflecting the rustic nature of the people here. During your exploration, sitting by the fire and enjoying a bowl of sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes or a glass of corn wine is an experience not to be missed.
Phong observed that the pace of life in Ta Xua is very slow, making it ideal for relaxation after stressful workdays. Although tourism services here are limited due to its remote location, they still meet the needs of visitors. “The prices are a bit higher, but the quality is quite good. For me, the experience is the priority, so I feel completely satisfied,” he said.
