On June 20, 2024, Topas Ecolodge, Sapa was honored in the National Geographic Traveller's 2024 list of lakeside and mountain resorts.

This also marks the first time a resort in Vietnam has made it onto this prestigious list. Previously, Topas Ecolodge has been featured several times by this organization in their other prestigious lists: 21 Must-Visit Places If You Care About the Planet, 2017 and The World's Most Unique Resorts, 2018.
