Ford Vietnam increased sales by 52% in the first six months of the year.

Ford also achieved record retail sales in June, up 47% with 2,369 vehicles, thanks to Ranger's highest-ever monthly sales and strong demand across all of Ford's global vehicle lines.

The segment-leading pickup truck – the Ranger – contributed to Ford's first-six-month sales results with a 102% increase, equivalent to 6,868 vehicles, continuing its position as the best-selling pickup truck in Vietnam for the second consecutive year. June was also a record month for the Ranger, reaching 1,429 vehicles, a spectacular 128% increase compared to the same period last year.

The EcoSport compact urban SUV continued its strong performance in June with an 18% increase in sales, reaching 308 units. This positive result contributed to a 30% increase in total sales for the first half of the year, equivalent to 2,220 units, with the EcoSport continuing to define a completely new segment in the Vietnamese market.

The Transit commercial vehicle line continued to lead its segment in June with retail sales reaching 371 units. Sales of this model increased by 40%, equivalent to 3,399 units in the first six months of the year. The Transit remains a top choice for many business owners across all sectors due to its durability, versatility, and efficiency as a high-quality commercial vehicle. For over two years, the Transit has been the best-selling commercial vehicle line.

June sales of the compact sports car Fiesta increased by 43%, equivalent to 103 units, contributing to a 12% increase in sales for the first six months of the year, equivalent to 399 units. The Fiesta is also equipped with the 1.0L EcoBoost engine – Ford's award-winning engine for many years.

The Focus line, with its 1.5L EcoBoost engine, sold 100 units in June, bringing its sales for the first six months of the year up 66%, or 459 units.

Ford also expanded its authorized dealer network in the first six months of the year, opening Ford dealerships in Thanh Hoa and Nha Trang. The number of authorized Ford dealerships and branches has reached 31 in major cities and provinces across the country.

"We plan to continue expanding the car ownership experience for our customers by further expanding our dealership network in the second half of this year," Mr. Dung added.
