Launching the #HelloVietnam program to promote Vietnamese tourism using short video tools

With the consent and sponsorship of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, TikTok - the world's leading short video platform, together with Tourism Magazine (under the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program #HelloVietnam has officially launched with video tools, with the companionship of Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVCab).

During this ceremony, TikTok also officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tourism Magazine. The two sides will cooperate in promoting and developing content promoting Vietnam Tourism on the TikTok platform; researching and proposing to build a project to promote Vietnam Tourism to target markets such as Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia... using the TikTok platform in the next stages. This is an activity within the effort to cooperate in promoting and promoting Vietnam Tourism and aims to diversify content, honoring the creativity of Vietnamese people that TikTok announced at the TikTok Vietnam Launch Ceremony on April 24, 2019.

The main objective of the #HelloVietnam program in the period of 2019-2020 is to create 30,000 short video content promoting the beauty, culture and people of Vietnam, serving more than 100 million online content views on the TikTok platform alone. Every 2-month cycle, the parties will carry out 01 promotional program for 01 province/city, region to promote the locations and tourism products of that locality. The first program #HelloDanang will be conducted from June 15, 2019, with the goal of creating a "Da Nang tourism experience in 24 hours". With the number of monthly users up to 12 million in Vietnam alone and more than one billion app downloads worldwide, TikTok wishes to take advantage of technology and tourism content to honor the beauty of Vietnam, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists to Vietnam's landscapes and landscapes. #HelloVietnam is also part of a global tourism promotion campaign initiated by TikTok, launched on June 7 under the name #TikTokTravel, aiming to honor famous landscapes and landscapes around the world, bringing a new perspective on tourism, and bringing cultures closer together.
