In order to promote Da Nang tourism products and services to key international markets, promote Hong Kong - Da Nang flights; and at the same time create opportunities to connect Da Nang and Hong Kong tourism businesses, Da Nang Department of Tourism coordinated with the Travel Association, Da Nang and Quang Nam tourism businesses to organize a Da Nang tourism introduction session in Hong Kong such as: Furama Danang resort, Cicilia Danang, Centara Sandy beach, Danang Golden Bay, Hoiana golf, Mercure Bana hills French Village, Grand Tourane Danang, H&K hospitality, Premier Village Danang resort, Fayfay.com, Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific.

Attending the program were representatives of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau - China, more than 60 Hong Kong travel agencies and press agencies. On the side of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the representative was Ms. Huynh Thi Huong Lan - Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.

Also within the framework of this road show in Hong Kong, the Da Nang Department of Tourism also participated in introducing tourism products at the ITE & MICE Hong Kong Tourism Fair - the largest B2B tourism trade event in Hong Kong held annually since 1986. The fair has more than 600 booths from 52 countries around the world and in the region (of which 56% are from the Asian market, 27% from the European market, Oceania and Americas accounting for 11%), attracting nearly 13,000 buyers and visitors.

Accordingly, Hong Kong is currently one of the key tourist markets of Da Nang. As of the end of 2018, there were 23 direct flights to Da Nang, including 15 regular direct flights and 8 charter flights, with a frequency of 328 flights/week. Of which, the regular Da Nang - Hong Kong route has a frequency of 04 flights/week operated by Jetstar, a frequency of 12 flights/week operated by HK Express and 7 flights/week operated by Cathay Dragon. According to statistics, the number of Hong Kong visitors to Da Nang in the first 5 months of 2019 reached 22,571, reaching 101.9% compared to the same period in 2018.
The program to introduce Da Nang tourism in Hong Kong is an opportunity for Da Nang to present the image of a "Cultural - Civilized - Dynamic - Friendly" destination to international tourists.
