On March 22nd, the opening ceremony for the visa office for Vietnamese citizens of these three countries took place on the 5th floor of the building located at 218 Bach Dang Street (Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City).
Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Belgian, German, and Italian visa application center in Da Nang.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Paul Jansen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium; Mr. Andreas Siegel, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany; and Mr. Andrea Zampolli, Head of the Visa Section of the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to representatives from the consulates of these countries, the number of Schengen visa applications in Vietnam has recently increased significantly, particularly in the central region. Despite the existing two visa application centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, VFS Global has opened this additional center to facilitate the process for Vietnamese citizens.

The opening of the Belgian, German, and Italian visa application center in Da Nang aims to facilitate access to all steps of the visa application process for those living and working in Da Nang and the surrounding areas, from providing information on visa regulations to other services such as checking visa application status via SMS, document translation, and postal services.
