Hàn Quốc luôn là một trong những điểm du lịch thu hút đông đảo du khách Việt Nam

South Korea has always been one of the most attractive tourist destinations for Vietnamese visitors.

Previously, the Korean Ministry of Justice officially announced that Vietnamese citizens with permanent residence in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City would be granted a 5-year multiple-entry visa. This visa officially came into effect on December 3, 2018. The 5-year multiple-entry Korean visa allows holders to enter Korea multiple times within 5 years, with each stay not exceeding 30 days.

Previously, Vietnamese citizens wishing to obtain a 5-year multiple-entry visa had to have visited South Korea at least four times, along with many other conditions. Now, these requirements have been significantly relaxed.

Along with easing the conditions for granting 5-year visas to Vietnamese citizens, the South Korean government expects a significant increase in Vietnamese tourists and a strong surge in exports to the Vietnamese market. The South Korean Ministry of Justice is also considering granting multiple-entry 10-year visas to Vietnamese citizens working in fields such as law, medicine, and professorship.
