The opening event this morning with the presence of the French Ambassador to Vietnam - Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, the representative in charge of TLScontact, tourism experts and the consular team of the French Embassy took place successfully at the new center on the 8th floor, Pacific Place building, 83B Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi.
French Ambassador to Vietnam Bertrand Lortholary speaks at the opening ceremony
It is known that, realizing the strong increase in demand of Vietnamese tourists to France in the past two years (nearly 70,000 visas, of which 40,000 visas were issued in the center of Hanoi in 2018), TLScontact in Vietnam wishes to meet this demand by planning a new, more innovative space, at the same time, allowing the provision of services with quality and reception facilities commensurate with the image of France.

The waiting room is decorated more cozy and eye-catching
More importantly, Ambassador Bertrand Lortholary said that instead of letting people go to visa application centers, TLScontact hopes to proactively reach out to Vietnamese people, especially those in big cities like Da Nang and Hai Phong, so that the visa application and receipt process can be done online more quickly and conveniently.
The ambassador talked to people waiting for French visas.
In his speech, the ambassador also did not forget to emphasize that “the relationship between Vietnam and France is developing positively in all fields”, from politics, economics to culture. Therefore, he hopes that the new visa reception center will create opportunities and encourage more Vietnamese people to come to France.
