Excitement at the hot air balloon festival in Da Nang.

The hot air balloon festival held at East Sea Park in Da Nang city attracted the attention of many tourists and locals. Over two days, April 30th and May 1st, interested visitors could admire seven hot air balloons of various colors and shapes floating in the air.

Additionally, visitors can experience the sensation of floating at an altitude of 30-50 meters. Each tethered hot air balloon can accommodate 3-5 passengers, depending on wind conditions. However, the experience is limited to two time slots: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM. The service costs 150,000 VND per person.

According to previous information, the festival was scheduled to take place on April 27th. However, several days after the announcement, the event has still not been held. This has left many people who were looking forward to the colorful hot air balloon display disappointed.

Nevertheless, the organizers' decision to keep the flight schedule running during the holiday period still attracted a large number of curious tourists, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the recent 5-day holiday.

The festival program and supporting activities will take place in the extended Bach Dang Street area (APEC Park). The Da Nang City Department of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the City Department of Culture and Sports and event organizing companies from South Korea, has researched and planned the 2019 International Hot Air Balloon Festival. This is expected to be a new tourism product, contributing to attracting tourists and developing the city's economy.
