The hot air balloon festival held at the East Sea Park in Da Nang City has attracted the attention of many tourists and locals. During the two days of April 30 and May 1, interested people can admire 7 hot air balloons with many colors and shapes floating in the sky.

In addition, visitors can experience the feeling of floating at a height of 30-50m. Each hot air balloon can accommodate 3-5 guests, depending on the wind. However, the experience time is limited to 2 time frames: 7:30 - 9:30 and 15:30 - 17:30. The service price is 150,000 VND/person.
According to previous information, the festival was to take place on April 27. However, several days after the announcement, the event has not yet been held. This has left many people looking forward to the colorful balloons performance disappointed.
However, the fact that the organizers kept the flight schedule during the holiday still attracted a large number of curious tourists, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the 5-day holiday.

The festival program and supporting activities take place in the extended Bach Dang street area (APEC park). The Department of Foreign Affairs of Da Nang city has coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of the city, and event organizing companies from Korea to research plans and organize the 2019 International Hot Air Balloon Festival. This is expected to be a new tourism product, contributing to attracting tourists and developing the city's economy.
