Among the 8 participating teams, the most notable is the Italian team, the champion of DIFF 2018. The remaining 6 teams are all new faces, expected to bring diverse and unique colors to the fireworks displays and convey distinctive cultural messages in each performance. The theme of the 2019 fireworks festival is:Rivers tell stories.
Besides the spectacular fireworks displays, the 2019 DIFF season continues to offer tourists and residents of Da Nang the opportunity to enjoy world-class artistic performances by leading names in Vietnamese entertainment such as Thanh Lam, Hong Nhung, Ho Ngoc Ha, Doan Trang, Tung Duong, Phuong Linh, Uyen Linh, Phuong Vy, Thao Trang, Ho Trung Dung, Quoc Thien… In addition to the main DIFF 2019 festival, the Organizing Committee also organized other accompanying festivals such as the Carnival and the Beer Festival.
The Street Carnival will be held throughout the month of DIFF 2019, every Sunday from May 26th to July 7th (7 nights). At this event, actors and dancers in spectacular costumes and diverse performances will continuously perform on the pedestrian streets, offering audiences unique, entertaining, and highly interactive shows. The performances, carefully selected according to specific themes and combined with unique artistic elements, will leave visitors with a lasting impression of Da Nang city.
The B' Estival Beer Festival will take place from May 5th, 2019 to September 5th, 2019 at Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, and is also a co-event with DIFF 2019.
In addition, many other exciting and attractive accompanying events will be organized during the DIFF 2019 season to create a vibrant festival season full of new experiences and endless joy for tourists and locals during the summer of 2019. DIFF 2019 is hoped to be a stepping stone to make the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival a cultural and entertainment event worthy of its continental status, living up to the title of "Asia's Leading Festival Destination" for Da Nang, thereby contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position on the international stage.
The organizers have also announced the ticket prices for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2019 (DIFF 2019). Accordingly, all grandstands are located on the east bank of the Han River (Son Tra District). Ticket prices for individual visitors vary by grandstand location: B4 grandstand is 300,000 VND/ticket; B3 grandstand is 400,000 VND/ticket; B1 and B2 grandstands are 600,000 VND/ticket; A2 and A3 grandstands are 1,000,000 VND/ticket; and A1 grandstand (VIP grandstand) is 1,500,000 VND/ticket.
On the opening night (June 1st) and the final night (July 6th), the ticket price for individual spectators in stand B4 is 400,000 VND/ticket; in stand B3 it is 600,000 VND/ticket; and in stands B1 and B2 it is 800,000 VND/ticket.
Ticket prices for stands A2 and A3 are 1.2 million VND/ticket; for stand A1 (VIP stand) are 2.5 million VND/ticket. The ticket price for children (under 1 meter tall) on all nights is 50,000 VND.
