Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism has just announced that the 3rd Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival (Balloon Over Hue 2019) will be held at Ngo Mon Square, from April 26 to May 2, in the morning from 5:30 to 9:00, in the afternoon from 16:30 to 18:30. In particular, at 19:30 on April 27, there will be a hot air balloon light night.
Accordingly, the festival gathers 10 hot air balloons from 5 countries: Japan, the Netherlands, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. According to the plan, the festival will have 3 types of hot air balloons: free-flying hot air balloons, 100 - 300m high, 5km radius from the take-off point; hanging hot air balloons, 50m high right at the anchor point and mini hot air balloons for performances and visitors to take souvenir photos.
The total budget of the Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2019 is 3 billion VND from socialized sources mobilized by Balloons Over Hue Company Limited to sponsor and sell hot air balloon tickets.

Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2019 promises to bring a new breeze, painting Hue's sky a colorful picture with giant hot air balloons and many interesting surprises.
The Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival will be maintained as an annual festival, carrying the meaning of cultural-sports-tourism activities in Thua Thien Hue province. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Hue tourism to international friends.
It is known that on this occasion, the 8th Hue Traditional Craft Festival with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese Crafts" will also take place from April 28 to May 2.
