Attending the event were His Excellency Ali Akbar Nazari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam, and his family. A friendly person who loves Vietnam and its people, he once shared: "My family and I are very happy living in Vietnam, where everyone is so humble, warm, and friendly."
Nam Vien Phu preserves refined pleasures – a distinctive folk culture of the Vietnamese people during Tet.
Visiting Nam Vien Phu means entering a cultural space where Master Le Thai Binh, the hospitable host, has dedicated much effort to preserving and safeguarding the cultural heritage of the Vietnamese people. The organizers also hope that Nam Vien Phu will be a weekend getaway where esteemed guests and their families can relax and unwind after a tiring and stressful week of work.
As if by nature's design, spring is a time when the sky is clear blue, flowers bloom, and birds sing joyfully. In harmony with nature, people's hearts are filled with inspiration, from which countless poems, literary works, and paintings are born. Throughout the S-shaped land of Vietnam, one can easily find various forms of folk art.
It could be folk songs, traditional drumming, Quan Ho singing, Cheo opera, Tuong opera… or it could be calligraphy, tea and incense tasting, painting… Neo Preserving a Touch of Spring hopes to offer esteemed guests visiting Nam Vien Phu unique activities, allowing everyone to admire the new traditional costumes of Van Thien Y, enjoy the deep, rich incense of Thien Viet Agarwood, and savor the light, refreshing tea of Thien Viet Tea, reminiscent of the thousand-year-old tea trees in the North.
Somewhere within the grounds of Nam Vien Mansion, we encounter the sturdy silhouettes of ancient Nhat Tan peach trees, and the plump, golden kumquats peeking out from behind the lush green foliage of Tu Lien kumquat trees. The distinctive, gracefully curved tiled roofs and the tranquil, Zen-like atmosphere of Nam Vien Mansion add to the charm. Looking into the distance, we catch glimpses of Tram Mountain, and further still, the center of Hanoi. Here, the scenery is picturesque, and the soul is at peace.
To experience the unique spring atmosphere at Nam Vien Phu, one can also see the collection of paintings depicting sacred dragons and peace by artists Vo Hoang Minh and Nguyen Duc Thanh. The collection features 15 dragon paintings and 7 Buddhist paintings, all on traditional Vietnamese dó paper, by artist Vo Hoang Minh. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, therefore the image of the dragon has been depicted by many artists in various art forms.

Visiting Nam Vien Phu is like entering a cultural space.
The sacred dragons on traditional Vietnamese dó paper by Võ Hoàng Minh are powerful yet also flexible and graceful. From majestic and vibrant depictions of two dragons worshipping the moon to two dragons bringing wealth, from a white dragon hidden in the clouds to a magnificent dragon's might, the works of artist Võ Hoàng Minh will take viewers on a journey through many forms of the sacred dragon. Alongside these are two oil paintings, "The Majestic Dragon" and "The Mighty Dragon Guarding the Water," by artist Nguyễn Đức Thành, showcasing the proud beauty of the dragon, symbolizing nobility, eternal vitality, and cosmic power.
At Nam Vien Phu's Tea Room, you'll experience the tea-making and tea-tasting culture, the aroma of Vietnamese Zen incense, followed by the calligraphy skills of the Iranian Ambassador, and finally, the energy of the ancient Tibetan Dzi stone collection and meditation practice with Master Le Thai Binh.
