Mirazur restaurant on the French Riviera has taken the lead in the annual "World's 50 Best Restaurants" competition. Run by Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco, the restaurant boasts a number of exquisite dishes, including pickled beets served with caviar cream.
According to this award, Mirazur offers "the ultimate dining experience." It is particularly impressive for its "unparalleled stunning French coastal views, a three-tiered vegetable garden providing the freshest ingredients, and a team of talented chefs and dedicated service staff."

The award for the 50 best restaurants in the world, published by the British magazine William Reed Business Media, is now considered a rival to the prestigious Michelin stars. However, some experts remain skeptical about the award's evaluation methodology, as it is based on an anonymous survey of culinary experts worldwide, but the evaluation criteria are not clearly defined.
This year, the rules have also been changed to remove the names of restaurants that previously topped the list.
