Chi Pottery: Handmade pottery
Chi Pottery was founded by a family with a long tradition of handcrafted pottery. It originated from artisan Nguyen Van Chi – a passionate potter who discovered a unique artistic style of pottery. He is also one of the individuals involved in restoring ancient cultural relics such as the Hue Imperial Citadel and the Hanoi Flagpole.

Continuing the passion for the craft and inheriting the legacy left by artisan Nguyen Van Chi, his children created Chi Pottery to bring you handcrafted products that are both deeply traditional and infused with the spirit of modern life. Chi Pottery organizes pottery workshops every Saturday so that everyone has the opportunity to experience the craft of pottery making.
In each class, under the dedicated guidance of the ceramic artist's family, you will learn how to shape pottery with a potter's wheel, how to design and decorate your own ceramic product such as cups, bowls, vases, and feel free to take them home as souvenirs. The meticulous creation of ceramic works with your own hands, even if not perfect, is certainly an experience with significant spiritual value.

In a modern society with countless new forms of entertainment, Chi Pottery chooses a solid and humble place for itself. This workshop is also an opportunity for the younger generation to have more contact with a traditional art form, as well as with the valuable artisans of the "older" generation.

In 2021, Lach Cach Flower Shop organized a series of Seasonal Workshops with many interesting themes such as arranging a beautiful flower basket, hanging wreaths on doors, arranging flowers in vases, etc. Participants could choose their preferred vase/basket, flowers, and foliage in their favorite color scheme, then practice arranging them directly under the guidance of Ms. Thuy Nguyen – who is also the owner of the flower shop.

To inspire each student, the workshop also focuses on the space – from the charming and warm decor style to the meticulous attention to detail such as aprons and costumes. In the Tet flower arrangement workshop, the entire class wore traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) to immerse themselves in this special, deeply traditional theme. This created a connection between everyone and is a unique aspect of Lach Cach that few other places can offer. Attending the class, you will not only take home your own artistic creation but also a whole album of beautiful and poetic photos.

Tipsy Art: Art Painting
Painting workshops are no longer new, but few people know that Tipsy Art was one of the first to bring this trend closer to young people a few years ago. To this day, it remains a familiar and reliable address for those who love painting and want to create their own artwork without having much time to attend in-depth classes.

Tipsy Art goes beyond a simple teacher-led, student-following approach; it skillfully creates a space that integrates the senses to awaken artistic inspiration in everyone. You can paint, listen to beautiful music, enjoy drinks, and socialize, making many new friends with similar interests.
You don't need to be a skilled artist or have a knack for drawing to create your own personalized wall art with guidance from teachers and teaching assistants. Art supplies and tools are provided; all you need is a cheerful and relaxed mood to let your artistic inspiration flow freely.
“Initially, when I registered, I was hesitant because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to draw. However, the teacher and teaching assistant were very supportive, guiding me step by step. In the end, I achieved a beautiful painting that I now hang in my bedroom to admire every day,” shared Tú Anh, a young participant in Tipsy Art's workshop.

Depending on the location, each workshop will have 20-25 participants and last from 3 to 4 hours. Perhaps nothing is more enjoyable than a relaxing weekend chatting, painting with soothing music playing in the background, and even getting to take home your own artwork.

Tòong Teng Ceramic: Learn to create colorful mosaic art.
Although mosaic art is a decorative craft with a history spanning thousands of years, it is still relatively new in Vietnam. Mosaic Workshop in Saigon was established with the aim of introducing this fascinating cultural aspect to young people.
Here, after choosing a design they like, participants will get to press, select, and arrange colorful glass beads themselves, then assemble them into a wooden frame to create a unique artwork of their own. Of course, just like other workshops, the entire process will be carefully guided by artisans from Tòong Teng.

Unlike traditional paintings, mosaic art possesses a unique beauty. At first glance, it may seem rigid and rugged, but each detail requires meticulousness, skill, and perseverance from the artist to connect the small pieces into a vibrant whole. You also don't have to worry about preservation because the glass material is durable and long-lasting.
