Located 7 km from the center of Hue city, Kawara My An Onsen Resort is situated in My An village, Phu Duong commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. This resort complex is built on the site of the former My An Tourist Area – a place with hot mineral springs rich in minerals, characterized by a high sulfur content.
Specifically, according to initial research by Hue University of Medicine: "My An hot mineral water has a temperature of 52°C."oContaining trace elements essential for body health, characterized by its sulfur content, it is comparable to many famous hot mineral springs around the world. Numerous studies recognized by the Ministry of Health have shown positive results from using hot mineral water, including: enhanced metabolism, elimination of waste products, anti-aging effects, skin softening, and it acts as a special remedy for the body's biological systems, preventing chronic hypertension, nervous exhaustion, and arthritis.
Construction began in March 2019, and Kawara My An Onsen Resort is an international-standard integrated resort spanning 3.5 hectares. The resort is built in the "Zen garden" architectural style of Japanese culture, encompassing a traditional Japanese Onsen bathing and spa area with 11 luxury villas and 144 hotel rooms, a restaurant and swimming pool system, and entertainment facilities. Notably, the onsen bathing area operates according to the Japanese onsen model, with technology and operation transferred from Kawara Resort in Japan.

Kawara My An Onsen Resort is one of Bitexco Group's flagship projects. The system of 12 fully equipped hot spring baths, both indoors and outdoors, includes indoor and outdoor onsen baths, soda baths, cold mineral baths, hot mineral baths, and various sauna rooms such as dry saunas, wet saunas, salt saunas, ganbanyoku rooms, and iki saunas…
