The Azerai Can Tho project is a perfect blend of the dedication of Vietnam's leading real estate developer, Novaland Group, and the Azerai hotel brand by legendary hotel executive Adrian Zecha, aiming to provide a truly unique experience for travelers. Positioned as an "Affordable luxury" resort, Azerai Can Tho is an ideal retreat – harmoniously combining a beautiful location with local heritage, culture, and history; offering superb services and ensuring peace and privacy for discerning international guests.

This is also the first project in Novaland Group's Nova Phu Sa resort project series in the Mekong Delta region. Located in phase 2 of a three-phase development strategy, Nova Phu Sa is a large-scale, long-term tourism development project in the Mekong Delta that adapts to climate change. It is a green, carbon-neutral project focused on sustainable development. The project has significant social implications, creating many new jobs; it has received special attention and encouragement from the Prime Minister. The project will be a crucial turning point and a highlight for Novaland as it enters the resort market. It is expected to transform the Mekong Delta into a destination for the whole country, the region, and internationally.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland Group, the investor of the Azerai Can Tho project – shared: “The Mekong River is a legend, a masterpiece of nature, containing countless values of culture, history, and people… The Mekong is famous for its delicious specialties, its orchards laden with fruit intertwined with canals teeming with fish and shrimp. It is home to kind, sincere, and hospitable people. This is truly a heritage.”

It would be unfair if the Mekong Delta were to face a scenario where it is impacted by climate change: rivers drying up, no more fish or shrimp; rice paddies disappearing due to saltwater intrusion; orchards stripped bare; and kind-hearted people forced to abandon their farms. It would be truly worthwhile if the Mekong Delta, with its poetic and vibrant rivers, received the world's attention, preservation, and appropriate investment.

The opening of Azerai Can Tho not only marks a significant milestone in Novaland Group's development journey but also the beginning of a destination – Can Tho will be a world-class destination. With the love and contributions of all of us for the Mekong Delta real estate, the Southwestern region will have more resources to adapt to climate change. The environment, natural landscapes, and culture of the riverine region will be preserved. The Mekong Delta will be a place for us to explore, a place to leave behind our worries. Stepping into the Mekong Delta is touching a heritage, a touch of the essence in every modern aspect while still retaining the breath of tradition.”
Sharing his reasons for collaborating with Novaland on this project, Mr. Adrian Zecha said: “Vietnam is an attractive destination with great potential for tourism development, and the Mekong Delta region, with its Mekong River, is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Asia. Novaland Group is a Vietnamese enterprise with a deep understanding of the local area and a vision that aligns with the business philosophy and direction of the Azerai brand. That is, building Azerai in conjunction with the goal of promoting sustainable tourism development in Can Tho. After three years of hard work by many people, the resort has been completed exceeding my expectations.”

As one of the famous international guests visiting Azerai Can Tho for a week-long vacation, world supermodel Naomi Campbell shared: “Azerai Can Tho gave me a very comfortable and relaxing feeling with its open, peaceful space. It's inspired by fashion, music, and traditional art, conveyed in a fresh way. I also sincerely thank my long-time friend, Adrian Zecha – a legend in the global hotel and tourism industry – for creating another wonderful product like Azerai in Vietnam.”
