Three sisters from Nepal, Dawa Futi Sherpa, Tshering Namgya Sherpa, and Nima Jangmu Sherpa, embarked on an exciting journey together to conquer the mountain known as the "roof of the world."
The three courageous sisters set a Guinness World Record for the most sisters climbing Everest together. The trio shared many unforgettable moments, facing harsh challenges such as glaciers, sheer cliffs, and unpredictable weather.
However, for them, conquering Mount Everest is just the beginning of a journey to climb all seven of the world's highest mountains in the future.
"We feel incredibly happy and fortunate to hold the Guinness World Record title," Dawa Futi shared.
The three sisters are all Sherpas with many years of mountaineering experience. They live in a village in the Rolwaling Valley. Dawa Futi is the youngest of the three siblings. Mingma Gyalje is a renowned mountaineer in Nepal, having conquered Mount Everest multiple times.

"Our grandfather and father were mountaineers. But my father never achieved his dream of conquering Mount Everest. In 2015, he passed away from bowel cancer. We want to dedicate this Everest expedition to our late father, Dorjee Sherpa, who supported and helped us fulfill our dream," said Dawa Futi.
Dawa Futi is also an experienced mountaineer, having conquered Amadablam in 2019. She said, "Right after the Amadablam expedition, I participated in a basic mountaineering and rescue course organized by the Nepal Mountaineering Guides Association."
Meanwhile, Tshering Namgya is new to mountaineering. Previously, she only trained to climb Mount Lobuje before attempting to reach the summit of Everest.
The next mountain the three sisters want to conquer is Mount Elbrus, in Russia. Mount Elbrus is the highest peak of the Caucasus Mountains, a massive, inactive volcano rising approximately 5,642 meters above the ground.
