Three sisters from Nepal have entered the Guinness World Records book for successfully conquering Mount Everest.

Three sisters from Nepal, Dawa Futi Sherpa, Tshering Namgya Sherpa and Nima Jangmu Sherpa, together embarked on an exciting journey - conquering the mountain known as the roof of the world.

Three courageous sisters have set a Guinness World Record for the most number of sisters climbing Everest together. The trio have experienced many unforgettable moments together, facing harsh challenges such as glaciers, steep cliffs, and unpredictable weather.

However, for them, conquering Mount Everest is just the beginning of the journey to climb all 7 highest peaks in the world in the near future.

"We feel so happy and lucky to hold the Guinness World Record title," Dawa Futi shared.

The three sisters are all Sherpas, with many years of climbing experience. They live in a village in the Rolwaling Valley. Dawa Futi is the youngest of three siblings. Mingma Gyalje is a famous climber in Nepal, having conquered Mount Everest many times.

"Our grandfather and father were mountaineers. But my father never achieved his dream of conquering Mount Everest. In 2015, he passed away due to intestinal cancer. We want to dedicate our Everest conquest to our late father Dorjee Sherpa, who supported and helped us realize our dream," said Dawa Futi.

Dawa Futi is also an experienced climber, having conquered Amadablam in 2019. "Immediately after the Amadablam expedition, I took up a basic mountaineering and mountain rescue course organized by the Nepal Mountain Guides Association," she said.

Meanwhile, Tshering Namgya is new to mountaineering. She had only trained to climb Lobuje before summiting Everest.

The next mountain the three sisters wanted to conquer was Mount Elbrus, in Russia. Mount Elbrus is the highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains, a giant dormant volcano that rises to an altitude of 5,642 meters.
