Starting the Co Cay Hoa La business was a destiny for the founder duo Lan Phuong - Kat Nguyen. Previously, both sisters were among millions of consumers who were familiar with shampoo and shower gel products from foreign brands. However, the story changed when Ms. Lan Phuong became pregnant with her first child.

Since 2016, because she did not want to be affected by toxic chemicals, Ms. Lan Phuong stopped using conventional shampoo products and switched to natural shampoo. At that time, organic natural products were still quite strange, finding a suitable product for herself became even more difficult.

Having been a Chemistry student for 10 years, she has worked hard to research and learn about shampoo formulas from natural ingredients, with the criteria of health safety being the top priority, helping to bring a pleasant, comfortable and effective feeling to users. And from there, the Co Cay Hoa La brand took its first steps with products such as shampoo filter bags and natural lip balm. That is also the precursor to the Co Cay Hoa La shampoo bottles at the present time.

Even with products that only had more than 5% of customers giving negative feedback, Co Cay Hoa La decided to stop production,” founder Kat Nguyen shared.

From caring for a small family to becoming a brand with a foothold in the market after 6 years, Co Cay Hoa La has left many impressions and trust in the hearts of Vietnamese consumers. In the Shark Tank season 6 program, Co Cay Hoa La is one of the few natural cosmetic brands to receive 4 million dollar investment deals from the Sharks.
