Hot tourist spots during Hung Kings' death anniversary

After a long period of restrictions due to the pandemic, many tourists have chosen to travel during this year's Hung Kings' Death Anniversary holiday. In particular, beaches are always a hot spot for tourism, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

In Da Nang, the City Department of Tourism said that the total number of visitors to the city is estimated at 77,870. Specifically, the number of visitors to Da Nang via international and domestic flights is estimated at 38,979 with 262 flights (including 6 international flights from Singapore, Thailand and 256 domestic flights). The number of visitors to Da Nang by road also increased significantly. The room occupancy rate of 4-5 star hotels is about 50-60%, of which coastal hotels are about 70-90% and some hotels were "sold out" on April 9-10.

At the same time, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that the accommodation capacity in the whole province is very good. The total number of tourists visiting, entertaining, staying at hotels, tourist areas, and beaches in the area from April 9-11 is estimated at about 157,000, including more than 1,600 international visitors; revenue reached about 160 billion VND. The beach was crowded from early morning to late afternoon; accommodation facilities reached over 80% capacity; restaurants and eateries were crowded with customers during the 3-day holiday.

Quang Ninh province's famous tourist attractions welcomed a large number of visitors during the three-day holiday. According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, out of approximately 150,000 visitors, Ha Long Bay remained the most attractive destination with nearly 25,000 visitors; Sunworld Ha Long Complex received 20,000 visitors; the provincial museum received 10,000 visitors; Ba Vang Pagoda received 19,000 visitors and Yen Tu scenic relic site received 12,750 visitors.

Besides the beaches, mountain tourist attractions also attract a large number of tourists. In Sa Pa, about 78,300 visitors came here during the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday, of which, domestic tourists accounted for 78,274. Fansipan Cable Car Tourist Area is always an attractive destination for tourists with nearly 19,000 people coming to explore and experience. It is estimated that the total revenue from tourists to Sa Pa during the holiday reached about 261 billion VND.

In Tay Ninh, according to Tay Ninh Sun Joint Stock Company, during the 3-day holiday on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, Ba Den Mountain attracted nearly 50,000 visitors to experience tourism, pilgrimage and worship the Buddha statue.

In the two big cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the central destinations also attracted a large number of people during the 3-day holiday. Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Thu Le park (Hanoi) or the Zoo (Ho Chi Minh City) were almost always crowded with visitors.
