After a long period of restrictions due to the pandemic, a large number of tourists chose to travel during this year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday. Among these destinations, beaches remain a popular tourist spot, attracting both domestic and international visitors.
In Da Nang, the City Tourism Department reported that the total number of tourists visiting the city reached an estimated 77,870. Specifically, the number of visitors arriving in Da Nang via international and domestic flights was estimated at 38,979 with 262 flights (including 6 international flights from Singapore and Thailand and 256 domestic flights). The number of visitors arriving in Da Nang by land also increased significantly. Hotel occupancy rates for 4-5 star hotels reached approximately 50-60%, with beachfront hotels reaching around 70-90%, and some hotels fully booked for April 9-10.

At the same time, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province reported that the occupancy rate of accommodation facilities throughout the province was very good. The total number of tourists visiting, relaxing, and staying at hotels, resorts, and beaches in the area from April 9-11 was estimated at approximately 157,000, including more than 1,600 international visitors; revenue reached about 160 billion VND. Beaches were crowded from early morning to late afternoon; accommodation facilities reached over 80% capacity; and restaurants and eateries were bustling with customers during the three-day holiday.
Popular tourist attractions in Quang Ninh province welcomed a large number of visitors during the three-day holiday. According to the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Tourism, out of approximately 150,000 visitors, Ha Long Bay remained the most attractive destination with nearly 25,000 visitors; Sunworld Ha Long Complex amusement park welcomed 20,000 visitors; the Provincial Museum welcomed 10,000 visitors; Ba Vang Pagoda welcomed 19,000 visitors; and Yen Tu Scenic Area welcomed 12,750 visitors.

Besides the beaches, mountain tourist destinations also attract a large number of visitors. In Sa Pa, approximately 78,300 visitors came during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday, of which 78,274 were domestic tourists. The Fansipan Cable Car Tourist Area remained a popular destination with nearly 19,000 visitors exploring and experiencing it. It is estimated that total revenue from tourism in Sa Pa during the holiday reached approximately 261 billion VND.
In Tay Ninh, according to Tay Ninh Sun Joint Stock Company, during the three-day holiday commemorating Hung Vuong Ancestor's Day on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, Ba Den Mountain attracted nearly 50,000 visitors who came to experience tourism, pilgrimage, and worship the statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

In the two major cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, destinations in the central areas also attracted large crowds during the three-day holiday. Ho Guom pedestrian street, Thu Le Park (Hanoi), and the Saigon Zoo (Ho Chi Minh City) were almost always bustling with visitors.
