The record-breaking price of this Christmas tree comes from its decorations featuring red, white, pink, and black diamonds. In addition, it boasts jewelry from renowned brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chanel, 3D peacock models made from chocolate, feathers, ostrich eggs, and numerous valuable perfume bottles.

With a total value of up to $15 million, the Christmas tree at the Kempinski Hotel Bahia is currently the most expensive Christmas tree in the world.

Previously, in 2010, this title belonged to the $11 million Christmas tree at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
In Asia alone, the title of most expensive Christmas tree belongs to a tree created by jewelers at the Ginza Tanaka jewelry store in Tokyo, Japan, in 2016. That piece was estimated to be worth $1.8 million and made from 1,220 meters of gold wire.
