The record price of this Christmas tree comes from the details decorated with red, white, pink and black diamonds. With a total value of up to 15 million USD, the Christmas tree at Kempinski Hotel Bahia is the most expensive tree in the world today.

In Asia alone, the title of the most expensive Christmas tree belongs to a tree created by jewelers at the Ginza Tanaka jewelry store in Tokyo, Japan in 2016. The work is estimated to be worth 1.8 million USD and is made from 1,220 meters of gold wire.
