On the morning of February 11, the Management Board of Huong Son Scenic Relic Site began selling tickets to visitors, nearly a week earlier than the time allowed by the Hanoi People's Committee. The reason for this was that thousands of people from many localities flocked to Huong Pagoda (My Duc District, Hanoi) to visit and worship Buddha at the beginning of the year right after hearing that this place was about to reopen.
Explaining the early ticket sales, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hien, Head of the Management Board of Huong Son Scenic Relic Site, said: "It is not that the locality sells tickets early before the opening day. As soon as we heard that Huong Pagoda was about to reopen, tourists from all over the country flocked here. The fact that we operate the ticket control station is part of the testing process of the entire system. We do not want any group of tourists coming to Huong Pagoda to have to turn back, so selling tickets to visitors at the present time is a form of flexible adaptation."

Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work here is carried out carefully, including 8 Covid-19 epidemic control checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Huong Son scenic relic site, 2 mobile medical stations have been set up at Huong Son Commune Medical Station and Ben Cho area (tourist ticket control point). As soon as visitors are detected with signs of cough, fever or suspected Covid-19 symptoms..., visitors will be promptly taken to quarantine points by medical staff and treated according to regulations of the Ministry of Health.
In addition, the Management Board of Huong Son Scenic Relic Site also recommends that visitors who have not received two doses of vaccine should not come to the relic site to ensure their health and that of the community.
Entrance fees to the relic site remain the same as every year, with the scenic ticket being 80,000 VND, the boat ticket being 50,000 VND/person, and the cable car ticket being 180,000 VND/person. Photo: Huong Son Scenic Relic Management Board
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee had issued a document agreeing to allow the My Duc district government to open the temple to welcome visitors and organize the Huong Pagoda festival on February 16. However, this unit will not organize the opening ceremony but only let tourists come in to visit, sightsee and worship Buddha.
