Wínk Hotels, the groundbreaking hotel brand of Indochina Vanguard Hotels, has announced the locations for its first two projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. This is an important milestone marking the first two of many Wink Hotels in Vietnam.
These two land sites have been officially handed over to the investor ICC Kajima, a real estate development unit of Indochina Capital Group, the leading US real estate investor in Vietnam. Forming a joint venture with Kajima, Japan's leading foreign real estate investment and development group, Indochina Capital's goal is to develop high-quality, groundbreaking projects throughout Vietnam. Wink Hotels is the brand that symbolizes ICC Kajima's development vision.
The first Wink Hotel project is located at 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Ho Chi Minh City, in a rapidly developing area in District 1, the city's financial and commercial center. The first Wink Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2019, with a total of 226 rooms. Demolition work and site preparation for the project are underway. The project development and hotel management teams are in the process of refining the design and completing other key construction items.
The second location of the hotel chain is located at 178 Tran Phu, Da Nang, right in the heart of the city's commercial and entertainment center. Wink has 243 rooms and a rooftop lobby with beautiful views of the Han River, Hai Van Pass, Son Tra Peninsula and the East Sea. The hotel in Da Nang is expected to open in the first quarter of 2020.
