The longest walking route in the world that doesn't involve crossing oceans or any other significant barriers (border posts, military outposts, etc.) is from Cape Town (South Africa) to Magadan (Russia).

According to a user on the social media site Reddit, brave enough travelers can experience this unique route on foot without needing any means of transportation such as planes or boats.

The total distance, as measured on the map, is 22,387 km, and the average walking time is 4,492 hours. This extraordinary journey would take approximately 187 days if walking non-stop, or 562 days if walking continuously for only 8 hours a day. Along the way, travelers will pass through six time zones, experience all four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), and visit 17 countries along with the following world-famous landmarks.
