Nghia Nguyen, a photographer originally from Long An province, had the opportunity to attend and capture memorable moments at a special wedding in Ben Tre. As a true native of the Mekong Delta, Nghia has always had a passion for photography, especially film photography. But this time, for him, the experience was not just about the art of photography, but also about the unforgettable emotions from a dream wedding.
A wedding that impressed with its exquisite blend of tradition and modernity.
Speaking to Travellive reporters, Nghia couldn't hide his excitement: "Before coming to Ben Tre, I had seen the preparations and decorations. When I saw it in person, I was truly overwhelmed by the dreamlike setting. This is the wedding I've always dreamed of. I feel truly lucky and honored to have photographed this special event."
After dating for 7 years, they had a dream wedding in the bride's coconut grove.
This wedding was meticulously and thoughtfully prepared from concept to execution, a dream long cherished by the couple, Hoang Kham and Ngoc Chau. Nghia shared: "The couple envisioned a wedding that combined rustic countryside charm with modern sophistication. Decorative materials such as coconuts, bananas, and furniture were all prepared by the family, while the decorations were handled by our decor team. Everything blended together wonderfully, preserving the essence of the countryside while maintaining a contemporary feel."

Using familiar ingredients like coconut, banana, pineapple, etc., and cleverly combining them with fresh flowers to decorate the wedding venue.
The bride and groom desired an outdoor wedding with a Western style, yet retaining the rustic, familiar charm of the riverside region. By using familiar materials like coconuts, bananas, pineapples, and cleverly combining them with fresh flowers, they created a wedding space that was both romantic and deeply personal. The entire space was enveloped in muted orange and soft nude pink hues, transporting guests to a romantic painting amidst lush green nature.

A simple yet elegant and sophisticated wedding.
According to Nghia, the special thing about weddings in the Mekong Delta is the hospitality, generosity, and sincerity of everyone: "From the setting and the people to the cultural aspects, everything is very distinctive. When attending, I no longer feel like a guest but like a member of a family, sharing joy together. Even after the party is over, the family continues to warmly entertain guests with the spirit of 'we won't leave until we're full and drunk'."

The seven-year love story of Hoang Kham and Ngoc Chau left a deep impression on everyone in attendance. "Despite overcoming many difficulties, they finally had a fairytale wedding. Their love touched all the guests," Nghia shared. It was their genuine love and the meticulous preparation by the couple and their families for the wedding that made this special day so meaningful and unique.
The bride and groom are surrounded by the blessings of family and friends.
A wedding is not just a happy event for the bride and groom, but also an opportunity for everyone to experience the beauty of Western Vietnam's culture combined with a modern touch. Nghia confided that this was not just a wedding, but also a beautiful memory in his professional life, a moment when he saw his dream of a perfect wedding fully realized.
