With a passion for constant innovation and discovery, and the humanitarian goal of “Music that moves lives”, over the past 30 years, Toyota Classics has performed 203 concerts, promoting cultural exchanges around the world and promoting classical music to music lovers in Asia. The ticket sales of approximately 9.5 million USD (equivalent to about 215 billion VND) have been used for charitable activities, contributing to the development of society in areas such as social culture, environmental protection and traffic safety of 14 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region. From October this year, Toyota Classics will take place in 7 countries including Brunei, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.

The 2018 Classical Music Night features the performance of the British Orchestra “Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment”, under the direction of music director and Harpsichordist Steven Devine. During their tour across Asia, the Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment will introduce to the audience the experience of music from the Baroque period, which emerged after the Renaissance and is known for its meticulousness and refinement in music. This music genre became popular during the Enlightenment period, creating a new genre of classical music that expresses the perfect blend of movement, freedom and emotion. In addition, this year, with the appearance of professional dancers from the Ho Chi Minh City Dance School and young choreographer Ta Thuy Chi, who has received many awards for her choreographic works at many national competitions, the Toyota Classics 2018 Music Night promises to create a sublime and colorful classical music picture.
At the Toyota Classics 2018 press conference, Ms. Do Thu Hoang - Deputy General Director of Toyota Vietnam Automobile Company shared: "For more than 20 years, the Toyota Classics Night program has been implemented annually to bring world-class classical music closer to audiences in Vietnam.
