Is there any trip that you will never forget? Is there any memory that has changed you and become a beautiful memory that will stay with you for the rest of your life? The journey to discover the world is truly magical because what it brings is not only immediate joy, but also priceless spiritual values that time can hardly erase.
Memories and journeys
When asked about her most memorable trip, Phuong Anh, who is currently working in real estate in Hanoi, shared: "I have had many memorable trips, one of which was a cloud hunting trip in Y Ty, Sapa 11 years ago. Although I couldn't hunt clouds, I had many valuable memories. At that time, I went with a friend, bought a train ticket, rented a bus, and then rented a car in Sapa to go to Y Ty. The road to Y Ty at that time was still dirt and muddy, and when it rained, half of the wheels were flooded. The car also got a nail and broke down in the middle of the road. It was only a few dozen kilometers but it took us the whole afternoon to get there, and our bodies were sore. At that time, Y Ty only had one motel at the beginning of the village, I got to bathe in red Dao leaves and eat food prepared by the villagers. On the way back, I couldn't buy a sleeper train ticket so I had to ask for a place to stay. All of it made for an unforgettable trip."

In addition to her carefree youth, that trip left an impression on Phuong Anh because of her willingness to pack her bags and hit the road whenever she had the chance. Even though she has been to many places, Phuong Anh still considers the cloud hunting trip to be the most memorable.
The human brain has a special fondness for travel. That is because it takes people away from the familiar rhythm of daily life to experience something completely new: a new land, new flavors, new sounds, exciting emotions and memories formed.
Traveling also brings valuable life experiences that make you realize that the world is not small within the four walls of a brightly lit office or the familiar streets you pass by every day. Every land, every new flavor, every person you meet... is a lesson in diversity and color, teaching us to be open to the differences that always exist in this world.
For Thu Ha - currently working as a content creator in Hanoi, trips are a great opportunity to enjoy delicious dishes typical of each region: "I always remember a small local restaurant in Venice, Italy that I happened to visit in 2018. The restaurant is not well known to tourists but is very popular with locals, selling mainly small sandwiches with a variety of cheeses, salami, tomatoes, olives... ".
When asked about the most memorable point, Thu Ha added: "It's simple but all have very impressive flavors, and at extremely reasonable prices. Local customers come there in droves, sitting and enjoying the cakes with a glass of beer, then watching football or chatting together. Even the sellers are extremely friendly and enthusiastically advise me on dishes to try. Lunch there makes me not only taste delicious flavors but also feel a part of Italian culture that cannot be found in books."

Journeys of discovery can be exciting and full of laughter; but deep within them there is always a "calmness" so that each person can understand the world better, reflect on themselves, find inspiration, soothe their souls or heal their wounds. That is what makes people remember forever instead of just seeing it as a normal entertainment experience.
Relive trips from the past
Memories of trips are precious assets, so people are constantly looking for ways to preserve them as completely as possible. Using a camera or camcorder is a familiar and popular form because it captures the moments accurately and easily. Besides, many people have a hobby of bringing back souvenirs that represent each land they have passed through. These can be small decorative items, postcards or simply tickets at places you have visited such as museums, palaces, historical sites or even plane tickets.
"I have a habit of collecting magnets bought in the countries I have visited: in France it is the Eiffel Tower, in Italy it is the Roman ruins or in Spain it is the Sagrada Família basilica... Now, they have become a precious collection that I always carefully preserve. Every time I see them, memories come flooding back" - Huong, an international student in Germany, shows her collection.

There are also people who like to tell about their trips in a travel diary. Not saving images perfectly like photos, the words written in each faraway land completely protect the fresh emotions so that every time you read them again, those moments once again return intact.
Khanh, currently living in Hanoi, shared: "Facing such majestic scenes, I think no photo can fully express what is towering before my eyes. Therefore, unlike most people, I choose to write to save them in words, so that later I may not remember clearly how high the mountain is, what color it is, but I can still live in the emotions and overflowing happiness that I have saved."
One can also store memories of the trip in the typical flavors. Most regions have their own delicious dishes that carry the pride of the local community. So, if you are a food lover, you can learn to cook these dishes, then bring back some special local spices to prepare and enjoy at any time.
Diversity makes the world
Finally, scents are known to have a powerful effect in evoking memories. So, associate each place you visit with a particular scent. A little trick suggested by travel bloggers is to use a different perfume on each trip. This way, each time you encounter the same scent, the memories of your journey will come back naturally and gently with the scent notes.
