Van Hoi Lagoon (Phu Tho)
If you want to find a peaceful, cool, quiet place to relax on the weekend, a trip to Van Hoi lagoon is a choice worth considering. Formed nearly half a century ago by building an irrigation system for irrigation, Van Hoi lagoon is nearly 10 km long, nearly 2 km wide in some places, with 410 hectares of water surface.

The value of Van Hoi lagoon is that there are 40 large and small islands in the lagoon, with lush vegetation all year round. At the same time, the greenery is also a shelter for many native and migratory birds that perch densely in the forests on the islands in the lagoon. Large streams such as Van stream, Linh stream, Chanh stream, and Ha stream gather water from the primeval forests into Van Hoi lagoon, making the lagoon full of water all year round. The large amount of plankton makes the lagoon very rich in fish.

Around Van Hoi lagoon is an area where only Tay and Dao people have lived since ancient times, so there is also a diverse and unique cultural heritage of ethnic minorities. Visitors coming here will have the opportunity to enjoy ethnic culinary culture, or the lagoon's specialties, skillfully prepared from typical aquatic species such as: fried fish, snakehead fish, black carp...
Lang Van Beach (Da Nang, Quang Nam)
Da Nang is famous for places like Ba Na, Ngu Hanh Son, My Khe... but in another corner, this place also hides a small, wild and naturally beautiful valley - that is Van village.

Lang Van is a small village nestled at the foot of Hai Van Pass. Connected to Cape Isabella, this village forms a bow hugging the foot of the legendary Hai Van Pass. Previously, the village was a shelter for a group of lepers; after leprosy was cured, the villagers returned to integrate into the community, and Lang Van continued to be home to a small residential area, isolated from the entire city of Da Nang. The quietness and tranquility are the outstanding factors that make up the characteristics of this place.

Lang Van will be an interesting choice for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and explore the small corners of life. Camping overnight, catching shrimp and fish near the shore... are some interesting experiences in this small village. The landscape combines the sea, natural mountains and forests interspersed with the rumbling of the North-South trains, all creating a poetic and interesting space.
Vinh Hy Bay (Ninh Thuan)
As a part of Ninh Thuan - a province with many breathtakingly beautiful places that still retain the wild beauty of nature, Vinh Hy Bay offers a dreamy, realistic scene like a painting.

Vinh Hy Bay is surrounded on three sides by green mountains and large limestone rocks with many strange shapes and long white sand beaches. In Vinh Hy Bay, there are many places as beautiful as fairylands: Rai Cave, Ba Dien Beach, Tron Beach...

The cuisine in the bay is also a reason to attract tourists to this place. Snails, fragrant snails, sea snails, fresh squid, live shrimp, sea urchins... are all famous delicacies with "cheap as free" prices. Tourists can enjoy seafood to the fullest without worrying too much about the price.
Cu Lao Cau Island (Binh Thuan, Phan Thiet)
From the mainland, Cu Lao Cau looks like a warship anchored at sea with its bow facing east. During World War II, Cu Lao Cau was a haven for pirates, who often looted and sank passing Japanese ships.

Cu Lao Cau is home to many rare aquatic species, so it is a great place for tourists to dive and see coral. In addition, there is Yen cave, where hundreds of swiftlets make their nests. Right next to Yen cave is Ba Hon cave, a cave created by three large vertical rocks, with an interesting shape that anyone who comes here must take pictures of. The Nam Hai temple (worshiping the whale for seafarers who stop by the bridge) is where the festival takes place on the full moon of April every year...

Cu Lao Cau is under the management of the border guards, so if you want to stay overnight, you must ask permission from the border guards on the island. However, there are no accommodation services on the island, so if you want to stay, you need to bring a tent, sleeping bag or you can ask to stay at the border guard station.
Binh Lap Island (Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa)
Although it belongs to the Tu Binh - Cam Ranh coastal area, Binh Lap is little known to tourists because of its location, which is almost completely isolated from the outside world.

The weather in Binh Lap is quite pleasant. In spring and summer, the sea water is crystal clear. Here, visitors can explore Binh Chau beach, Ngang beach... - where there are many shops, or can rent a boat to go to Con beach and other pristine beaches around Binh Lap. Also, do not miss the small fishing villages near Sao Bien Eco-tourism Area, where there are almost only locals and lost tourists.

Binh Lap has no specialties but only fresh seafood caught from the sea such as shrimp, squid, fish... In addition, there is a dish called "chicken pointing" - meaning that customers will be led to where the chickens live, point to whichever chicken they like, and the restaurant will make it according to their request. Restaurants in Binh Lap are mostly concentrated in Binh Chau and Ngang beaches with many rich and diverse dishes, or you can choose a restaurant in the resort to enjoy.

Binh Lap is simply a small, isolated and peaceful peninsula with gentle and simple fishermen and clear blue beaches; there are no rows of resorts close together, nor are there expensive high-class services. Therefore, traveling to Binh Lap does not cost too much, but gives you almost absolutely pristine experiences.
Diep Son Island (Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa)
Famous for its unique sea walking path, fine white sand and deep blue water, Diep Son Island is gradually becoming one of the most attractive tourist islands in Khanh Hoa.

One of the must-do things when in Diep Son Island is to explore the unique sea road in Vietnam. When the boat stops near the middle island, you can get off the boat and start your journey to conquer the sea road that goes through 3 islands, nearly 700 m long. The white sand road is about 1 m wide, lying in the middle of the clear blue sea, will make visitors feel both overwhelmed and excited.

In addition to immersing yourself in the blue island, at Diep Son you can also kayak, explore the surrounding small islands or experience the life of the people through the markets. If you come to the island in the morning, you can visit the seafood market on the coast to enjoy banh canh, banh mi, porridge and seafood pancakes...
If you want to stay overnight on the island, you can ask to stay at a local's house (homestay) or bring a tent to camp on the beach, because this place has not yet developed accommodation services such as motels, hotels...
