As its name suggests, the 5-star boutique hotel Hôtel des Arts Saigon is designed like an art museum. With its feminine lines contrasting sharply with the surrounding buildings, the hotel stands as a masterpiece of modern art in the heart of Saigon. Each hotel in the MGallery chain tells a unique and inspiring story, immersing guests in poetic adventures steeped in history, culture, nature, and much more, all encapsulated within their stay.

The Hôtel des Arts Saigon evokes the French colonial era in Vietnam, when journeys to the Far East were reserved for the discerning elite. The design offers guests a romantic atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era, blending classic charm with modern details and luxurious 21st-century amenities. Upon entering through the tall wooden doors, guests are greeted by a collection of paintings and antiques personally curated and arranged by the owner of the Hôtel des Arts Saigon, highlighting and distinguishing the walls, corridors, and main lobby of the hotel.

The 24-story architecture is like a journey through time, taking visitors back to the images of bustling markets, folk songs, and the ancient landmarks that make up the quintessential beauty of the "Pearl of the Far East." Or feel the enchanting French atmosphere of the 19th century conveyed in the bedroom space. Pristine white bed linens, feather pillows, and soft mattresses provide an incredibly comfortable feeling.

Furthermore, each restaurant within the hotel has its own unique identity and spirit. While Saigon Kitchen restaurant transports you back to the bustling atmosphere of old Vietnamese markets, offering the rich and refined flavors of cuisine from all three regions of Vietnam as well as other Asian countries; at the Social Club restaurant and lounge on the 23rd floor – designed by the renowned Japanese interior design company Super Potato – guests will experience the beauty of a design that harmoniously combines the romantic and luxurious style of 1930s Europe with the modernity of the 21st century.

The inspiration behind the design of the Hôtel des Arts Saigon comes from the melancholic beauty of young women in the paintings displayed in the hotel, collected by the hotel's owner. Australian architect Scott Whittaker successfully translated this inspiration into his design, creating an artistic architectural masterpiece in the heart of Saigon. The hotel itself is like a beautiful maiden with a sad yet romantic past, evoking a feeling of returning home to a place you've never visited before: a strange yet familiar and comforting sensation.
"When it comes to an architectural work, people usually focus on what they see, but the hotel wants to give guests the experiences and emotions they will have when they step into this architectural space: a touch of classic, a touch of contemporary, and full of inspiration in every detail," shared Carl Gagnon, General Manager of Hôtel des Arts Saigon.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards ceremony took place on December 2nd, 2017, in St. Moritz, Switzerland, a leading ski resort. Over 300,000 votes were cast from travelers worldwide. With over 120 countries participating in the 2017 awards, Hôtel des Arts Saigon was truly honored to be one of the nominated and winning hotels.
