As part of the vibrant year-end activities for both domestic and international tourists, the Kite Festival at The Cliff resort, held on the afternoon of December 18th, attracted a large number of visitors.

With the desire to introduce the traditional culture of Vietnam through the childhood game of kite flying, The Cliff Resort always organizes folk activities and games to serve tourists visiting Cliff for relaxation and sightseeing. More than 100 colorful kites in many cute and funny shapes, such as giant octopuses, firebirds, and Winnie the Pooh, were flown in the sunny and breezy sea sky of Binh Thuan. This is the second time the Kite Festival has been held at The Cliff Resort.

Besides kite flying, The Cliff also organizes a series of free activities for visitors during the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, such as cooking Vietnamese dishes like banh xeo (Vietnamese savory pancake), pho (Vietnamese noodle soup), and spring rolls; making chocolate cookies; enjoying wine; and holding a photo contest showcasing the unique beauty of Binh Thuan in a romantic and artistic setting with painting, music, and cuisine.

I’m so excited to participate in this festival; it’s full of color, each kite flying up is like a dream (laughs).” Dung, Head of Marketing at Cliff, said, “The kite festival is very popular with tourists. It’s a unique activity that attracts more and more visitors. We are planning to organize more traditional Vietnamese cultural activities to introduce to international friends when they come here.”
