Marriott Hotels in Hanoi support Operation Smile

In line with the core value of “Serving the Community”, Marriott hotels in Vietnam and Cambodia join hands to support Operation Smile with the belief that every child deserves a full life and that fullness begins with a smile. This partnership will contribute to raising surgery funds for the organization and join hands to convey the mission of “Operation Smile” to bring smiles, change fates through free orthopedic surgeries for children and adolescents with congenital facial deformities and cleft palates.

The surgery, which costs US$350, will help your child go to school, enjoy meals and communicate normally. The 45-minute surgery will not only restore their smile but also improve their mental health, thereby contributing to making the world we live in more beautiful.

In 2018, Marriott Hotels in Hanoi committed to partnering with Operation Smile to bring brighter futures to children. The support program includes media, local fundraising activities and many other supports. Donation envelopes are placed in the guest rooms of each hotel to encourage guests to donate any amount of cash to raise funds for the program, and the hotel will support the program with items such as "smile bags" including: shampoo, soap or shower gel, combs, towels for children after surgery and support accommodation for members/doctors of Operation Smile when on business trips or on duty.
