Traditional dishes such as Horiatiki salad, Fassolatha white bean soup, Stifado beef stew in wine, Rizogalo rice pudding... are highlights of the Greek food week at the Equatorial Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Chef George Diakomichalis, an Australian of Greek descent and host of the popular TV show "It's all Greek to me," will be hosting a Greek-style buffet dinner from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM from October 6th to 15th at the Equatorial Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The party will offer diners traditional and famous dishes from the land of mythology, Greece. Highlights include appetizers such as Horiatiki salad, Fassolatha white bean soup, Tzatziki yogurt sauce, Skordalia garlic mashed potatoes, Kalamta olives, Feta white cheese, and Pita bread.

A Greek feast would be incomplete without signature main courses such as Stifado (beef stewed in red wine), Souvlaki (grilled skewers), Kokkinista (meatballs in tomato sauce), Saganaki (shrimp in tomato sauce with cheese), Moussaka (fried eggplant stuffed with minced meat), and Spanakopita (baked spinach dumplings).

 

 

In addition, diners have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of desserts from many European countries such as the famous Turkish Baklava, Loukoumades honey donuts, Koq custard with fragrant chocolate topping, Rizogalo rice pudding with sweet cinnamon flavor...

 

 

The program is priced at VND 798,000++ per adult; VND 399,000++ per child. Children under 6 years old are free. The above prices include drinks served throughout the meal: wine, beer, and soft drinks.
