Discover Twin Beans, Ha Tang's special "hideaway" in Da Lat.

Also a celebrity who loves to travel, Tang Thanh Ha's trips don't feature lavish, luxurious "check-ins," but instead are often filled with greenery and... tranquility. Let's explore a "mysterious" resort that Tang Thanh Ha visited during her recent trip to Da Lat – a place she's returned to many times.

"A fool seeks out a secluded place."

Anyone who follows Tang Thanh Ha will realize that she's "addicted" to Da Lat, having visited it countless times. But Tang Thanh Ha's Da Lat is different from the Da Lat of most tourists – it doesn't have chill cafes, vibrant flower gardens, or magnificent buildings in the city center. Tang Thanh Ha usually... "escapes" to secluded places.

During her trip at the end of March, which lasted over a week, she continued to enjoy the secluded green spaces of the misty region with her parents, husband, and children. They strolled through the Cau Dat tea hills, had campfires, stayed in the "fairy tale valley" of Lat Valley…, and notably, Tang Thanh Ha also returned to a "mysterious" accommodation deep in the highland forest, where her family had visited in March 2021: the Twin Beans farm.

Recounting on social media, when Tang Thanh Ha asked her eldest son, Richard, if he wanted to stay on the farm forever, the boy innocently said "yes," that he wouldn't miss his toys at home because "I have nature here."

What's so appealing about Twin Beans Farm?

Twin Beans Farm is located on the outskirts of Da Lat – “nestled amidst vast pine forests and surrounded by babbling streams that flow year-round” (as described by the farm itself), 20 km from the city center (about a 45-minute drive). Guests can reach the farm by motorbike or car, following National Highway 27C towards Nha Trang to Da Sar commune, then turning left onto a small concrete road and driving for about 3 km to reach the farm.

The appeal of Twin Beans lies not only in its scenery and fresh air, but also in its farm – which provides fresh, clean ingredients for the food served to guests (from farm to table), and the coffee beans that are grown in-house, resulting in the cups of coffee that customers enjoy every day (from beans to cup).

Twin Beans offers three experiential services: glamping and farm stay accommodations; nature-based tourism; and a garden café serving drinks and food made from farm-grown ingredients, along with specialties from the surrounding areas.

For a full day of experience, Tang Thanh Ha chose the glamping package which included an overnight camping and BBQ on a pine hill. In addition, any guest staying at the farm could enjoy other activities such as: enjoying breakfast with Arabica coffee; participating in...barista workshop(Distinguishing between different coffee varieties and types of machine-brewed coffee drinks, learning about the coffee production process, getting acquainted with espresso); bathing in streams, strolling in the forest, visiting coffee plantations, trekking to a sturgeon farm and a three-tiered waterfall; visiting a hydrangea garden…

Trước khi có tên Twin Beans, khu vực nông trại được người dân địa phương gọi tên là Thung Lũng Nắng

Before being named Twin Beans, the farm area was known locally as Sunshine Valley.

…bởi địa hình lưng dựa lên đồi thông, nhìn xuống thung lũng là vườn cà phê, ban ngày tràn ngập ánh mặt trời.

…because of its location, nestled against a pine-covered hill and overlooking a valley of coffee plantations, it is bathed in sunlight during the day.

Because it's built on a farmstay model, services at Twin Beans Farm aren't always available (currently, the farm only accepts guests who have booked in advance), but the facilities are still fully equipped. Waterproof tents can accommodate 3 to 4 adults and come with beds, mattresses, blankets, and pillows inside; the campsite has toilets, hot showers, hairdryers, towels, shampoo, body wash, etc.

Overnight guests have two options: staying in bungalows – wooden houses by the stream – or glamping. Bungalows are a suitable choice for those who love nature but still need comfort, while the glamping experience involves a night of camping and BBQ in the forest by the stream. Accommodation prices at Twin Beans Farm are not too expensive, ranging from 800,000 to 2,000,000 VND per adult (per night).

Another reason to visit, especially for pet lovers, is that the farm has a lot of… dogs. Even “dog bathing” is included in Twin Beans’ list of activities for a peaceful day at the farm.

Why do Tang Thanh Ha, and many other tourists visiting Da Lat, choose Twin Beans farm instead of luxurious resort grounds? Or, as the farm owner himself wondered, "What makes people give up warm blankets, comfortable mattresses, and minimal amenities to roll around in a 3-4 square meter tarp?"

It turns out it was simply the morning coffee, the crackling campfire "competing" with fireflies, or the feeling of lightness in the soul when finding oneself surrounded by mountains and hills. So light that even a 6-year-old child wouldn't want to leave and go home.

"Hopefully, in the not too distant future, Farm will become a link between local farmers and the consumer market, contributing to improving quality and finding outlets for Vietnamese coffee and agricultural products," the farm owner shared.
