This year, JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel celebrates the 25th anniversary of organizing the "GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2017" event, the largest annual cultural event organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) in collaboration with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC / AHK Vietnam), JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi.

The first Oktoberfest cultural event was held in 1992 and has always been a great success, marking a new milestone in the annual social event calendar taking place in Vietnam. Over the past 25 years, this traditional German event has become increasingly famous not only in Vietnam but also around the world, giving participants an impressive and unforgettable experience.

Coming to Ho Chi Minh City, the event will be held at the Nikko Saigon Hotel from Thursday, September 21 to Saturday, September 23; from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
In Hanoi, the event will take place from Thursday, October 5 to Saturday, October 7, from 6pm to midnight at the JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, marking GBA’s fourth consecutive partnership with the hotel. Held in the beautiful lakeside area and with the participation of famous actress Lan Phuong as host, the event promises to bring memorable moments.
The vibrant atmosphere and unique cultural characteristics of the traditional Oktoberfest are recreated at JW Marriott Hanoi every year.
The cultural event "GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2017" will certainly recreate the vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere typical of the traditional Oktoberfest often found at the large beer halls in Munich, Germany. Now combined even more fully with dishes rich in German flavor, with premium draft beer imported directly from Germany combined with the vibrant festival atmosphere with Bavarian folk music performed by Anton Showband in Hanoi, promises to bring many special performances and stir up the atmosphere throughout the event.
