This year, JW Marriott Hanoi celebrates the 25th anniversary of "GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2017," the largest annual cultural event organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) in collaboration with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam) and JW Marriott Hanoi, under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi.

The first Oktoberfest cultural event, held in 1992, has always been a resounding success, marking a new milestone in the history of annual social events in Vietnam. Over the past 25 years, this traditional German event has become increasingly popular not only in Vietnam but worldwide, offering participants an impressive and unforgettable experience.
With the participation of distinguished guests from the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA), the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, the main sponsors of the program, and representatives from the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the event will be held at the Nikko Saigon Hotel from Thursday, September 21st to Saturday, September 23rd, from 6 PM to midnight.
In Hanoi, the event will take place from Thursday, October 5th to Saturday, October 7th, from 6 PM to midnight at the JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, marking GBA's fourth consecutive collaboration with the hotel. Held in a beautiful lakeside location and featuring renowned actress Lan Phuong as the host, the event promises to deliver unforgettable moments.
The vibrant atmosphere and distinctive cultural essence of the traditional Oktoberfest are recreated at JW Marriott Hanoi every year.
The cultural event "GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2017" will undoubtedly recreate the vibrant atmosphere and distinctive cultural characteristics typical of the traditional Oktoberfest, often found in large beer halls in Munich, Germany. Now, even more perfectly combined with delicious German cuisine, premium draft beer imported directly from Germany, and a lively festival atmosphere set against the backdrop of Bavarian folk music performed by Anton Showband in Hanoi, it promises to deliver many spectacular performances and liven up the atmosphere throughout the event.
