In 2017, the “World Luxury Hotels Awards” marked the fourth consecutive award that La Veranda Resort had received. Earlier in the year, the resort also won the “TripAdvisor's Travelers Choice 2017”, “Asian Lifestyle Tourism Awards – Outstanding Beach Resort 2017” and “The Guide Awards 2017”.

Located in the heart of Duong Dong beach, La Veranda offers services and experiences that evoke the feeling of the French colonial era on the coast. The architecture and design create a unique and comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone Indochina. The resort has two restaurants and a bar: The Peppertree, Le Jardin, and Le Bar. With Le Spa, a wellness and beauty center using premium organic ingredients, and a newly launched service, the “La Veranda Romance Menu,” featuring 12 different romantic options, it has become one of the perfect beachfront experiences for couples on holidays, vacations, and honeymoons.

Phu Quoc Island, located in the south of Kien Giang province, attracts an estimated 1.8 million tourists annually. Estimated revenue reached over 11.15 trillion VND (equivalent to 499 million USD) in 2017.

Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc District, said: "The district plans to support and promote tourism, including activities such as festivals and improving the quality of maritime services. Phu Quoc aims to become a high-quality tourist destination in the region and internationally by 2020."
