Romantic love story in a French villa
Every little detail in the 70 rooms here creates a historical scene of a golden life, slow and simple but extremely sophisticated. The formation and development of La Veranda Resort is the work of Madame Catherine - a French noblewoman with ancestors from Phu Quoc. The architecture and every interior decoration detail at La Veranda are witnesses of more than a century of history and a magical journey.

Madame Catherine’s grandfather migrated to Phu Quoc in the 19th century with the desire to develop the pepper growing business. But love changed him when he met and fell in love with Madame Thanh – Madame Catherine’s grandmother and also a native of Phu Quoc with a family tradition of making fish sauce. Together they began their journey to Phnom Penh and started a business in this special spice.
