La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – The art of service and unforgettable moments

26/09/2016

Guided by MGallery By Sofield's motto, "where the art of hospitality makes local discoveries more enjoyable and creates memorable moments," La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc and its people are the reasons why guests will forever remember this beautiful and romantic resort.

Nestled in a secluded spot on the pearl island of Phu Quoc, La Veranda Resort is a charming French-style villa situated on a stunning, long beach and surrounded by a lush, tranquil tropical garden. With architecture inspired by French colonial culture, this upscale resort caters to travelers who appreciate the sun and sea breezes, and the peaceful, unspoiled beauty of the tropical coastline.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, La Veranda Resort is also delighted to receive the Luxury Beachfront Boutique Hotel of the Year 2016 award from Luxury Travel Guide magazine. This award is once again proof of the beautiful, unique architecture and world-class service at La Veranda.

This includes the invaluable contribution of each and every employee at La Veranda – those who daily dedicate their hearts and hospitality to their work, aiming to provide the utmost comfort for guests while creating a peaceful, romantic atmosphere and unforgettable experiences.

“I arrange fresh flowers and fruit and make sure the room is clean and fragrant before 7 a.m. every day so that guests can check in at noon. I want guests to smell the sweet fragrance of these beautiful tropical flowers as soon as they enter the room.”

“My job is to prepare a traditional French breakfast for our guests. We take pride in our Pain Au Chocolate and Croissant. The bread is perfectly baked, and that’s when we welcome our first customers to the restaurant. The aroma of the bread wafts through the air, awakening their taste buds after a long night’s sleep. I enjoy going around to the tables, greeting guests and serving them the most delicious bread.”

10:00 AM – Thang, Gardener

“Every day, I’m very busy from around 10 am to 2 pm. I spend a lot of time carefully selecting and harvesting the freshest fruits and vegetables from the 1,000 square meter organic garden right at the resort. As if by unannounced appointment, the chef will arrive at the garden at 2 pm, and I will give him the fruits and vegetables to prepare dinner for the guests.”

10:00 AM – An, Receptionist

“We usually have guests checking in from around 2 PM. To ensure maximum comfort, we invite guests to check in at the bar instead of the reception desk. At Le Bar, guests can relax, enjoy special drinks prepared to welcome them, and gaze out at a stunning long beach with pristine white sand and crystal-clear blue water.”

7:00 PM – Till, Head Chef

“I really enjoy every evening working here, especially seeing the guests delighted and happy as I prepare the food on a vintage French-style trolley right at their table.”Chef-at-YourTable.I enjoy telling them fascinating stories about food."
