On August 8th, Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh Tung, a tour guide from Travel Plus company, reported to the Vietnamese embassy in London that a tourist in his group, Le Thi Dieu Linh, had gone missing while sightseeing and shopping in York, North Yorkshire, Northeast England on August 6th.

According to initial police investigations, the female tourist was last seen with an Asian man near the city walls in Station Rise at 4:40 PM on Tuesday, August 6th. At that time, Linh Le was wearing a white shirt, denim shorts, and a white backpack. The man she was last seen with was approximately 20 years old and wearing a dark shirt and a black baseball cap.

Đây là lần đầu tiên Linh Lê đến Anh. Đáng lo ngại hơn khi cô bé mới chỉ 15 tuổi và không biết tiếng Anh.

This is Linh Le's first time in England. Even more concerning is that she is only 15 years old and doesn't speak English.

Local police in York have stated that eight people have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of the tourist.

The Vietnamese Embassy in London, England, confirmed that it was aware of the disappearance and had received Linh's passport from the travel company. Linh's parents in Vietnam have also been informed of the incident.

"We also held the passport of the person accompanying Linh, but this document was later returned and that person has since returned to Vietnam. We are still assisting with the investigation," a spokesperson for the Vietnamese Embassy in London said.
