Follow the trail of Wanderful Dreamers to discover the Champa festival.

15/01/2019

The Kate Festival is one of the most important festivals of the Cham people, so much so that every year, descendants of Champa, no matter where they live, try to return to their homeland to express their gratitude to their ancestors who contributed to the creation of the community.

Despite being established less than a year ago, Wanderful Dreamers seems to be doing a great job promoting and introducing Vietnam's multiculturalism to international friends through this type of festival. These "dreamers," with their aspiration to rediscover the roots of Vietnamese culture, have demonstrated to viewers that many young people are still passionate about preserving their national cultural identity.

The video about the Cham Kate festival was created by the group during their visit to Ninh Thuan. With meticulous attention to visuals and English subtitles, the product received much positive feedback from the international community. They were quite surprised that Vietnam has such a unique festival. Although it's just the beginning, this is clearly motivation for the group's future projects.

Hopefully, the video below from Wanderful Dreamers will inspire and pique your curiosity to plan your future journey of exploring the culture of your country.
