Designed by Renzo Piano, who also designed the Pompidou Centre in France, KIX resembles a boat floating in the sea. The unique architectural style here is the continuous arrangement between the main building of the airport and the terminals, giving you an unlimited view throughout the airport.

Tired after a long flight, KIX offers you the 24/7 KIX Airport Lounge service with full massage chairs, shower rooms, comic reading rooms, computers for surfing the Internet, children's playrooms... There are even automatic fast food kiosks selling drinks, instant noodles, and snacks for those who come here late at night, when most of the airport's restaurants are closed.

Those traveling independently can save money by getting a blanket from the Info Desk, and stopping by the 24-hour Lawson convenience store to rest on the armchairs.
