Located in Rogaland County, western Norway, Preikestolen (or simply Prekestolen) is a steep cliff 604 meters high situated opposite the Kjerag plateau. The top of the cliff is approximately 25 m x 25 m and almost flat. According to geological experts, this rock formation was created during the Ice Age, 10,000 years ago.
