Ban Gioc Waterfall is formed by the gentle flow of the Quy Xuan River, located on the Vietnam-China border, in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district. Cao BangThemajesticThe beauty of this waterfall has been a source of inspiration for countless painters and photographers.
| From Hanoi, follow National Highway 3 to Cao Bang city, a distance of approximately 272 km. From Cao Bang, continue for another 89 km over Ma Phuc Pass and Khau Lieu Pass to reach Ban Gioc Waterfall. Before admiring the majestic beauty of Ban Gioc Waterfall, the breathtaking scenery of the magnificent mountains along the way captivates visitors. And Bản Giốc appears as beautiful as a picturesque landscape painting. From a height of over 30 meters, large volumes of water cascade down with a thunderous roar over numerous limestone steps. In the middle of the waterfall, a wide, tree-covered rock formation unintentionally divides the river into three giant white ribbons, sending up a misty spray that blankets a vast area. Ban Gioc Waterfall consists of two main and smaller waterfalls with a total width of 208 meters. At the foot of the waterfall is a wide river surface, like a large, crystal-clear mirror reflecting the sky and clouds, flanked by lush green meadows. It is truly majestic and picturesque. Upon arriving here, visitors can also immerse themselves in the tranquil and peaceful scenery of the countryside. |
