Hilton Worldwide’s largest global campaign to provide youth with training and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry. Throughout the month of May, Hilton Hotels and corporate offices will host a series of career events to provide information and exciting opportunities in the hospitality industry to job seekers. The initiative is part of Hilton Worldwide’s Open Doors commitment, which aims to positively impact at least 1 million youth and help them develop their talents between now and 2019.

On May 14, 16 & 17, 2016, Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi organized the event “Hilton Career Day”. This event attracted more than 500 students from 10 universities, colleges, and vocational training centers in Hanoi who are looking for job opportunities in the hotel industry. Students witnessed real work operations, guided by Hilton staff, participated in games, listened to advice and learned about job opportunities at two Hilton hotels in Hanoi.

Mr. Andrew Nisbet, General Manager of Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi said: “Young people always face challenges when looking for a job. Therefore, it is extremely important to receive full information when choosing a career and skills.
We want young people to know about the job opportunities in the Tourism and Hospitality industry and are really excited to do so through one of the largest career events globally.”

Career@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month is an opportunity for Hilton Worldwide employees to inspire those seeking a career in the hospitality industry and teach them the skills needed in the industry. Hilton Worldwide employees will help young people participating in the event with resume preparation, networking meetings, and advice and sharing about career paths in the hospitality industry.
