This is Hilton Worldwide's largest global campaign to provide youth with training and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry. Throughout May, Hilton Worldwide's hotels and offices will host a series of career events to offer information and exciting opportunities in the hospitality sector to job seekers. This initiative is part of Hilton Worldwide's Open Doors commitment, which aims to positively impact at least one million young people and help them develop their talents between now and 2019.

On May 14th, 16th, and 17th, 2016, Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi organized the “Hilton Career Fair.” This event attracted over 500 students from 10 universities, colleges, and vocational training centers in Hanoi who were seeking job opportunities in the hospitality industry. Students witnessed real-world work procedures guided by Hilton staff, participated in games, received advice, and explored job opportunities at Hilton's two hotels in Hanoi.

Andrew Nisbet, General Manager of Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi, stated: “Young people always face challenges when looking for jobs. Therefore, having access to comprehensive information when choosing a field of study and acquiring the necessary skills is crucial for career selection.”

Career@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month is an opportunity for Hilton Worldwide employees to inspire job seekers in the hospitality industry and guide them through the necessary skills. Hilton Worldwide staff will assist young people with everything from resume preparation and networking group meetings to career counseling and guidance within the hospitality sector.
