Starwood Career Fair 2014 at Sheraton Hanoi

The 2014 Starwood Career Fair was a talent acquisition strategy for Starwood, targeting the aspirations and providing opportunities for talented individuals wishing to join the corporation. This event strengthened the nine Starwood brands and offered job opportunities at Starwood not only locally but also regionally and globally.

The Starwood Career Fair opened up opportunities for positions within the division, adding more than 25,000 employees across all levels and roles in 2014. The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel was one of 120 hotels located in major cities that hosted the Starwood Career Fair, including Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New Delhi, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur.

The positive response to the event in Hanoi contributed to the strong growth of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, further expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region. Starwood Asia Pacific currently operates over 260 hotels and is preparing to open another 200. The group has already announced the opening of over 30 new hotels in the region in 2014 – an average of one new hotel opening every 12 days. Considered the fastest-growing sector, Starwood Asia Pacific employs over 73,000 people, representing nearly half of Starwood's total workforce worldwide.
