The 400-year-old Parisian restaurant La Tour d'Argent, which inspired Disney's 2007 hit film Ratatouille, is ready to offer an exclusive culinary experience at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi later this month.

Considered an icon of French culinary heritage, La Tour d'Argent will take over Le Beaulieu restaurant at Metropole Hanoi from October 23rd to 27th, 2024, offering a 5-course lunch menu and an 8-course dinner menu, promising unique and exceptional experiences. The 8-course dinner starts from VND 5,500,000 per person (with an optional additional VND 2,500,000 for wine pairing) and the 5-course lunch starts from VND 2,800,000 per person (with an optional additional VND 1,200,000 for wine pairing). Prices exclude tax and service charge. Reservations and advance payment are required as seating is limited.

Led by Chef Yannick Franques, who was awarded the prestigious Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in 2004 for the most skilled chefs in various fields, La Tour d'Argent currently holds a Michelin star and is renowned for its blend of classic and modern French cuisine, as well as its exceptional wine cellar with over 300,000 of the finest wines.

One of the signature dishes that has made La Tour d'Argent, a restaurant with a history spanning over 400 years, famous is its renowned pressed duck. Beginning in 1890, customers enjoying this signature dish received a numbered certificate indicating the specific duck they were served. To date, the number has surpassed one million. Many famous guests also possess this special certificate, such as duck number 112,151 belonging to former US President Franklin D. Roosevelt and number 253,652 belonging to the legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin. Now, diners will have the opportunity to enjoy this legendary dish right here in Hanoi.
