For tourists who love quiet, Deanich Lodge is definitely an ideal destination. Dubbed “the loneliest motel in the world”, Deanich Lodge is located in the middle of a large valley in the Alladale Wildlife Reserve, north of Inverness (Scotland).

This place used to be an overnight resting place for shepherds, but has now been renovated into a comfortable motel for tourists looking for a quiet feeling, away from the crowded, stuffy city.

The lodge can accommodate up to 18 people, with 5 bedrooms including bunk beds and single beds. The house is spacious, simple but fully equipped with a reception and service team ready to be present at all times to meet all requests from visitors. Guests are also provided with delicious meals with fresh vegetables picked from the garden, and venison.

Fully equipped guesthouse with reception staff always ready to serve tourists.
Diners can enjoy their meals while admiring nature through the dining room window, with meadows in the distance, flower-covered mountainsides, and a clear stream flowing through a lush green valley.
