Ninh Thuan promotes tourism in Hanoi.

The Ninh Thuan Tourism Promotion Conference in Hanoi will take place at 2:00 PM on September 30, 2022, at the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, 360 Kim Ma Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. The "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Hanoi" 2022 will run from September 30 to October 2, 2022, with the opening ceremony at 8:00 PM on September 30, 2022, at the Monument to the Heroes Who Died for the Fatherland, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

The Ninh Thuan Tourism Promotion Conference aims to introduce and promote Ninh Thuan province's destinations, tourism products, and services to tourism investors and travel businesses in Hanoi. This event promises to strengthen linkages and cooperation in tourism development with the key market of Hanoi; simultaneously, diversify Ninh Thuan tourism promotion activities; attract tourists, and contribute to the growth of the province's tourism industry.

Within the framework of the conference, representatives of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company; signed a tourism development cooperation program between the Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi Department of Tourism; signed a tourism development cooperation program between the Ninh Thuan Tourism Association and the Hanoi Tourism Association and other localities; signed a cooperation program between the Ninh Thuan Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association; and signed a cooperation program between the Ninh Thuan Tourism Association and Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited, and Pegas Vietnam International Travel Company Limited on exploiting the Russian tourist market in Ninh Thuan in 2023.

Besides organizing a conference to promote Ninh Thuan tourism in Hanoi, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee organized the "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Hanoi 2022" with many special activities such as: performing traditional dances and songs; introducing musical instruments and exchanging and guiding traditional dances; guiding the art of making Bau Truc pottery and My Nghiep brocade weaving; and displaying beautiful photos of tourism, culture, and scenic spots of Ninh Thuan province. In addition, the event also featured 51 booths showcasing and introducing unique products, OCOP products, tourism products, and cuisine of Ninh Thuan province to visitors.

"Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Hanoi 2022" is one of the important events aimed at concretizing the cooperation between the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee with the Hanoi City Party Committee and People's Committee in the field of culture and tourism, contributing to promoting the cultural beauty of Ninh Thuan's ethnic groups, tourism products, and unique characteristics to the people of Hanoi and tourists nationwide.

Ninh Thuan province possesses significant potential and advantages for tourism development, boasting a coastline stretching over 105km with pristine beaches, diverse marine ecosystems, and year-round warm sunshine. Ninh Thuan also features a vibrant cultural landscape with unique tangible and intangible cultural heritage, such as Cham art and culture, and the Katê Festival. Currently, Ninh Thuan province has 239 relics and intangible cultural heritage sites, including 2 special national relics (Poklong Garai Tower and Hoa Lai Tower), 18 national heritage sites, and 46 provincial-level relics and heritage sites. In terms of tourism resources, Ninh Thuan has two national parks, Phuoc Binh and Nui Chua, which retain their pristine forests with diverse and rich plant ecosystems; Nui Chua, in particular, has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. In addition, Vinh Hy Bay in Ninh Thuan is also classified as a national scenic site and is one of the 8 most beautiful bays in Vietnam.

In order to develop tourism comprehensively, making it a key economic sector and a driving force for the province's socio-economic development, Ninh Thuan province has set specific development directions for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. The goal is to attract 3.5 million tourists by 2025, achieving tourism revenue of approximately 2,900 billion VND, contributing 13% to the province's GRDP, and providing employment for 15% of the province's workforce. By 2030, Ninh Thuan's tourism will truly become a key economic sector and develop sustainably.

Accordingly, Ninh Thuan province will prioritize the development of three main product groups, including:

• Specialized product groups: beach resort and experiential tourism; Cham heritage and cultural tourism; high-tech agricultural tourism; ecotourism associated with the Nui Chua National Biosphere Reserve.
• New and unique product groups include: Cat-Muoi exploration and recreation tourism; wildlife hunting tourism; railway experience tourism; and health and wellness tourism.
• Supporting product groups: community tourism, leisure and culinary tourism, tourism focusing on renewable energy production, and tourism trade.

In order to significantly improve the investment environment in Ninh Thuan, the province has also issued many preferential policies on land, simplified administrative procedures, and created favorable conditions for businesses and investors to register and conduct business in Ninh Thuan. The province also pays close attention to planning and implementing plans, and promotes tourism investment.
