Designer Do Manh Cuong "locked down" an entire 6-star resort to hold his fashion show.

Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong will be holding a Spring-Summer fashion show to introduce the new collection of his SIXDO brand. This event marks the return of live fashion shows after a temporary suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Continuing to leverage his strengths in organizing large-scale, spectacular shows, he promises to bring new and exciting experiences to guests and fashion enthusiasts.

The first fashion show at Amanoi

This SIXDO brand show was held within the grounds of Amanoi Ninh Thuan (Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province) - a name familiar to luxury travel enthusiasts. This is the first 6-star resort in Vietnam, with exorbitant room rates, including accommodations priced from 100 million to over 200 million VND per night.

Amanoi Ninh Thuan is located within the Nui Chua National Park, surrounded by Vinh Hy Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam. From here, you can admire the majestic, vast green forests stretching to the long, curving, azure coastline that is breathtaking. The resort covers 53,000 hectares, surrounded by 32 km of coastline, mountains, and thousands of rare forest and marine creatures.

Amanoi Ninh Thuan was designed by Belgian architect Jean Michel Gathy, the name behind many world-renowned projects such as: Park Hyatt, St. Regis, Cheval Blanc, Armani, Mandarin Oriental, GHM, Banyan Tree, Sangri-La, One&Only Reetgu Rah in Maldives…

This is the first time a fashion show has been held within the grounds of this expensive 6-star resort. Previously, when mentioning Do Manh Cuong's shows, the spectacular and elaborately designed stage was always one of the highlights. This time, the team continued to develop and utilize the exquisite natural materials along with the modern, minimalist, and luxurious architecture of Amanoi Ninh Thuan to create a unique stage.

Reportedly, CEO Huy Can negotiated with the owner to close Amanoi Ninh Thuan during the preparation and execution of the show. This was an extremely difficult task, but fortunately, both sides found common ground. Previously, Do Manh Cuong's live shows always attracted hundreds to thousands of guests, even when held in locations far from Ho Chi Minh City or even in the US and Australia.

However, this is the first show with the smallest number of guests ever: 100 people. To ensure guests receive the highest standard of service, the number is limited. Guests include top stars, celebrities, and VIP clients of Do Manh Cuong. Guests will stay for two nights and three days. After the show at 4 PM, guests will attend a luxurious evening party held within the grounds of Amanoi Ninh Thuan.

Designer Do Manh Cuong shared: “Besides the organization, selecting guests is also a major pressure for us. Because we understand that the current development of SIXDO, as well as the solid reputation that Do Manh Cuong has achieved, all stem from people's choices, whether big or small. However, to ensure the standards are met, we are limiting the number of guests to a certain limit. I always hope to have a show that can gather more people in the near future.”

He also shared that this collection is being launched to suit the summer atmosphere, but he doesn't want to reveal the concept yet to keep it a surprise until the last minute. It is known that 60 models will be performing in the show in June this year.

“Each show held far from Ho Chi Minh City presents considerable pressure, especially in coordinating and transporting equipment and personnel, and particularly in terms of production costs. But the investment is entirely worthwhile, reflecting the brand's prestige and quality. Certainly, after a long period of temporary 'rest' due to Covid-19, we are returning grand and vibrant, true to our positioning in the Vietnamese fashion market. This will undoubtedly be one of the foundations for SIXDO to move more strongly into the international market,” said businessman Huy Can.
