On July 28th, a 1-minute 10-second video clip went viral on social media showing a group of tourists stripping off their bras while playing a game on Cua Lo beach in Nghe An province. The clip showed the tourists divided into several teams playing a water-carrying game. According to the rules, everyone was allowed to use any object to scoop water, and the team with the most water won.
There would be nothing remarkable about the group of tourists using hats, scarves, etc., to participate in the game. However, during the process, some female tourists completely removed their bras, much to the astonishment of the other tourists. What's even more concerning is that at this time, Cua Lo beach was crowded with tourists from all over, including many young children swimming. When the clip was shared, it quickly attracted many comments.
A group of tourists were playing sexually suggestive games in Cua Lo.
The vast majority of tourists and locals believe that decisive measures are needed to address offensive behavior and inappropriate games played in public places, tourist attractions, and resorts.
Regarding the incident, Mr. Hoang Thanh Son, Head of the Culture Department of Cua Lo town, said that this was a group of tourists from Phu Tho who rented rooms, swam in the sea, and went sightseeing on the afternoon of July 27th.
"After seeing the clip on social media, we contacted the group of tourists from Phu Tho and invited them to come in for a meeting, but we have not yet received a response. The fact that the tourist group organized such games on Cua Lo beach is truly offensive," Mr. Son said.
