The Leica SL2 launch event was attended by many renowned Vietnamese photographers, including young photographer Tuan.fr - Leica SL2 Ambassador in Vietnam. Also at the event, Leica presented the "China" photo exhibition by legendary photographer Steve McCurry - a two-time winner of the World Press Photo award (in 1985 and 1992).

The SL2 launch and the introduction of the "China" photo exhibition took place at Leica Boutique Hanoi.
Beyond being a masterpiece of technology and performance, the Leica SL2 also offers an enjoyable experience with improved functionality and comfortable handling. Leica continues to apply new standards in design language across all its product lines with a simple and intuitive cluster of three main control buttons. In addition to leveraging the advantages of the legendary Leica M-Lenses series thanks to advanced features such as in-body image stabilization, there are increasingly more SL-Lenses lens options – some of Leica's best optical lenses.
The Leica SL2 is a worthwhile upgrade from its predecessor, representing a groundbreaking leap forward in photography and filmmaking while respecting history and heritage.
Despite significant technological upgrades, the Leica SL2 retains the same size as its predecessor and feels even lighter to use. It's also an ideal companion for all types of photography thanks to its design improvements. The IP54 rating allows the SL2 to operate in harsher environments. Noise reduction during long exposures can be switched off when faster shooting is needed. This reduced environmental concern allows users to focus more on taking pictures.
With its robust metal construction and elegant leather covering, the SL2 is the only mirrorless camera designed and manufactured in Germany.
Overall, the design of the Leica SL2 further emphasizes the iconic and much-loved hallmarks of Leica.
One breakthrough of the SL2 compared to the SL is its sensor's ability to quickly and effectively adjust its position to counteract camera shake. This in-body image stabilization method is also effective with lenses that do not have built-in optical image stabilization.
Additionally, when using a tripod in Multishot mode, the SL2 can capture 8 consecutive frames, with the sensor moving half the number of pixels each time. This feature allows you to capture a stunning, incredibly sharp image with four times the resolution (approximately 187 megapixels).
Some sharp photos were taken by the SL2.

The SL2 is currently sold in Vietnam at a price of 159,900,000 VND.
